Through this process, he learned about: software development, product design, user experience, branding, digital marketing, deployment, version control, and entrepreneurship. Every challenge became part of the learning process.

The first product developed under DSK Nexus is MatricBase, an education platform designed specifically for South African Grade 12 learners. The goal is to help learners navigate important decisions after high school by making information easier to access and understand.
Many learners struggle with questions like: What courses can I qualify for? What APS score do I need? Which universities offer certain programs? How do applications work? What funding opportunities exist? What career paths are available?
MatricBase was created to make this journey simpler. The platform brings together educational information, university guidance, study resources, and opportunities in one place.
Beyond building software products, Siyanda has a growing interest in cybersecurity and understanding how technology works at a deeper level.
His learning journey includes exploring areas such as Linux systems, software development, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
This curiosity comes from wanting to understand not only how to build digital products, but also how to make them more secure, reliable, and responsible.
